Job description

What you’ll do
  • Serve as Captain on the Cessna 408 SkyCourier in scheduled cargo operations across the Midwest and Eastern U.S.
  • Operate safely and compliantly in IFR/VFR, day/night, and varied weather in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
  • Conduct thorough preflight planning, performance calculations, and weight-and-balance; verify secure cargo loading and documentation.
  • Coordinate effectively with dispatch, maintenance, and FedEx ramp personnel to maintain on-time performance.
  • Complete accurate flight, maintenance, and operational reports.
  • Champion a safety-first culture and professional standards on every flight.
Minimum qualifications
  • Total time: 1,800 hours
  • Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 500 hours
  • Multi-engine: 300 hours
  • Turbine: 100 hours
  • Cross-country: 500 hours
  • Night: 100 hours
  • Instrument: 100 hours (75 must be in aircraft)
  • License required: ATP (FAA)
  • Medical: Class 1
  • Accepted licenses: FAA
  • Type rating: Not required — training provided (NTR)
