Job Description
Position Overview
The Intern position is for students who are still in school working towards a geology, engineering, or environmental sciences degree. The position will include a wide range of activities within the environmental consulting business designed to cover a broad spectrum of experiences. Specific scheduling and hours requirements will be coordinated with local management.
Position requirements:
  • Strong Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency.
  • Solid work ethic.
  • Ability to multi-task and self-prioritize.
  • An interest in learning all aspects of the business of consulting.
  • Your own reliable vehicle to drive to project sites.

Essential Duties:
  • Support the office project work and collaborate with technical staff to service clients and complete projects.
  • Assistance with site investigation, data analysis, and report preparation activities.
  • Assistance with site remediation system operations and maintenance activities.
  • Environmental sampling of soil, soil vapor, indoor air, and groundwater.
  • Health and safety monitoring.
  • Oversight of remediation and construction under close supervision by Roux staff.
