  • Ensure locates are correct
  • Safely and efficiently operates Mini Excavators
  • Ensure safe operation of any support equipment
  • Constantly communicate with crew members
  • Ensure potholes are dug prior to crossing utilities
  • Maintains accuracy in all reporting functions
  • Assist with JSA’s and constantly being on the lookout for changing conditions
  • Assist with hand digging and pot holing when needed
  • Performs other related duties as assigned


UNDERGROUND UTILITY INSTALLER ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install underground conduit
  • Safely and efficiently operate a shovel when needed.
  • Install concrete ground boxes
  • Constantly communicate with crew members
  • Ensure potholes are dug prior to crossing utilities
  • Maintains accuracy in all reporting functions
  • Assist with hand digging and pot holing when needed
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Install concrete on top of conduits in ditch
