Aspire Medical Staffing is in search of a dedicated Neurology Physician for the Evans Army Community Hospital (EACH)
at
Fort Carson Military Base
Location:
1650 Cochrane Cir
Colorado Springs, CO 80913

Schedule:
Monday-Friday
6am-6pm with a 30-minute uncompensated lunch
Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen 
  • Degree/Education: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.). Graduation from a medical school in the United States, Canada, or approved by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education of the American Medical Association (AMA), graduation from a college of osteopathy approved by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), or graduation from a medical school with evidence of Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certification.
  • Internship/Residency/Fellowship: Successful completion of ACGME approved Neurology Medical Residency.
  • Experience: Have at least 24 months of neurology experience within the last 36 months.
  • Certifications: BLS
  • Board Certification: Current board certification in adult Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry (ABPN).
  • Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine as a neurologist.
Duties:
• Examine, diagnose, and treat diseases and disorders of the nervous system.
• Provide outpatient services for patients as scheduled by the Government.
• Shall provide inpatient care.
• Provide immediate evaluation and management of emergency problems as they occur.
• Capable of performing lumbar punctures.
• Interprets evoked potentials and electroencephalograms.
• Capable of providing chemo denervation (such as botulinum toxin injections) for common neurological conditions.
• Prepare all records and reports as may be required in support of services rendered and as required by the MTF.
• Ensure a safe work environment and employee safe work habits.
• Capable of providing care to patients with Traumatic Brian Injury (TBI).
• Provides telemedicine services.
