Overview
The Nurse Education Specialist functions in a point-of-care, hands-on role as a nurse expert, educator, and consultant for assigned departments in the clinical development and education of nursing and other NAH team members. This position provides educational support for organizational safety and improvement initiatives. Nurse Education Specialist works in partnership with leadership to support onboarding, staff development, and promotion of practice excellence. The Nurse Education Specialist also functions to aid in preparation for regulatory and accreditation reviews.

Qualifications
Education
- Graduate degree or completion date within 3 years if hired after August 1st 2024 (If graduate degree is not in nursing, it must be in a related field and a
BSN is required) - BSN within 3 years if hired prior to August 1st 2024 to be completed by July 1st 2027
BSN not required if you have a MSN
- Current RN License
- National nurse professional board certification or attainment within 1 year of hire
- A minimum of 2 years experience in clinical nursing practice required
