Location: HQ - Williamsburg, Brooklyn
Status: Full-time/100% on-site
Compensation: $60,000-$65,000 annually

Position Summary

The Assistant Designer will be assisting the Graphics team with the technical aspects of the business - including techpacks, construction details, expanding our technique output, evolution and development, design into new silhouettes within the graphics key bodies, and design into select Men's apparel. This person should be organized and be a liaison to other teams to ensure everyone is aligned on all collections cross functionally.

Responsibilities

  • Work on techpacks and report alongside graphics team across multiple projects in a fast paced environment.

  • Design into select Men's graphics apparel skus

  • Collaborate with graphic designer in elevating current bodies and exploring new ones.

  • Assist on the product development of graphic styles and techniques (understanding product lifecycle processes).

  • Assist team with factory communications and technical specs of newly designed bodies.

  • Assist in being a liaison across product development and production teams to ensure correct artwork and techpack output.

  • Attend weekly design meetings and recap with graphic designer.

Qualifications

  • Equipped with 1-3 year(s) experience.

  • Collaborative team player and self-starter.

  • Detail oriented designer.

  • PLM experience and understanding.

  • Ability to manage multiple project with strong organization skills and meet deadlines.

  • Experienced in fashion terminologies, product development and design.

  • Exceptional communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in Google Sheets,/Excel, PLM systems, Adobe Suite.

  • Understands sports and Informed on fashion brands and the fashion scene.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Fashion design tech skills are a strong plus.
