Full-Time Hospitalist Opportunity in Southern California

HealthYes Staffing Network is recruiting a Hospitalist Physician (MD/DO) for a full-time opportunity in northern Los Angeles County area.

We're looking for a physician who enjoys inpatient medicine, collaborative care and the clinical variety that comes with hospital-based practice.

This is a permanent opportunity for a physician seeking to establish or continue a long-term career in one of Southern California's most desirable healthcare markets.

The Opportunity

The Hospitalist Physician will provide comprehensive inpatient medical care while collaborating with physicians, nurses, specialists and other members of the hospital care team.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and manage hospitalized adult patients
  • Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations
  • Develop and manage inpatient treatment plans
  • Order and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic studies
  • Manage acute and chronic medical conditions during hospitalization
  • Coordinate consultations with specialists
  • Communicate with patients and families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with nursing and multidisciplinary clinical teams
  • Coordinate transitions of care and discharge planning
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Support safe, efficient and evidence-based inpatient care

Qualifications
