Interns typically assist with underwriting, claims analysis, policy administration, and risk management tasks under the supervision of experienced professionals. This internship helps interns understand how insurance protects healthcare providers from legal claims, how policies are structured, and the process of handling malpractice claims. It's an excellent opportunity to develop industry-specific skills and explore potential career paths in insurance or healthcare law.

This hands-on experience will give you insight into how insurance policies are structured and how claims are evaluated, providing a strong foundation for a future career in insurance or healthcare law. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as underwriting, claims, and legal departments is common and offers valuable networking opportunities.
