Position Overview

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern for the Spring and Summer of 2026, with the possibility of extending the internship into the fall semester as part-time or full‑time. This role is an exceptional opportunity for those deeply interested in contributing to the development of medical devices within a dynamic startup environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the design, development, and testing of mechanical components for our pre‑clinical and clinical SPECT devices.
  • Assist in product assembly and testing.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to solve engineering challenges.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation and design records.
Qualifications
  • Enrollment in a Bachelor’s program in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, at the sophomore level or above.
  • Proficiency in CAD software; experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD preferred.
  • A strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work in team settings.
