Job description

Pennswood Village is seeking a CNA / Med Tech for Personal Care.Excellent staffing ratios. Schedule an interview to see our beautiful community and meet our wonderful and caring staff. Part Time positions available

$21-23/hr The CNA / Med Tech will function under the direction of the nurse-in-charge in the delivery of personal patient care to the residents in Barclay House. Provide personal patient care services in conjunction with established nursing policy and procedure under the direct supervision of the nurse in charge. Maintain accurate and objective written and oral communications through the use of the problem-oriented record system.

Plan and complete patient care assignments, assisting patients with all activities of daily living. Participate in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the individual patient plan of care as a part of the interdisciplinary team. Maintain and ensure the personal rights of all patients through knowledge of and advocacy of the Patient's Bill of Rights.

Establish safe and accurate working habits in the delivery of individual patient care. Participate in ongoing education to extend knowledge and improve skills as required by DHS. Participate in the orientation of new staff members.

Assist in the development of Health Service programs. Actively participate in monitoring the medical alert and fire alarm systems. .
