B&N Bridge Inspection Engineer/Project Manager Responsibilities:
  • Plan, lead and manage complex bridge inspection and assessment projects across the state of Arizona
  • Lead and train younger staff in the field and in the office.
  • Market new and existing clients, develop a pipeline of bridge engineering projects and help build bridge engineering services in the southwestern united states.
  • Assist marketing and business development opportunities in other geographies throughout the western United States.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent from an ABET-accredited engineering program
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration in the state of employment required; or ability to register through reciprocity
  • 10+ years of related bridge design experience
  • 2-week NHI/FHWA Bridge Inspection certification, NSTM/FC NHI/FHWA certification, SPRAT or IRATA rope access certification, and NHI Tunnel inspection certification are all desired
  • Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with Bentley AssetWise and AASHTOWare BrM
  • Comfortable working at heights
  • Ability to work outside regardless of weather conditions
  • Ability to withstand high levels of physical exertion including walking, climbing, bending, carrying, and lifting up to 30 lbs. of equipment
  • Ability and willingness to travel for field work; Travel requirements may be up to 100+ days per year and include out-of-state travel depending on workload
  • A valid driver's license with acceptable driving history is a must
  • SPRAT or IRATA rope access certification a plus. NHI Tunnel inspection certification a plus.
