Job Summary:
The Math Teacher (9-12) is responsible for teaching mathematics courses to high school students, fostering a deep understanding of mathematical concepts, and developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The teacher will create an engaging classroom environment, prepare students for academic success, and support their college or career readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in subjects such as Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus.
  • Adapt instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and skill levels of students.
  • Design and implement assessments, quizzes, tests, and projects to evaluate student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavior.
  • Create a positive, supportive, and safe classroom environment that encourages participation and critical thinking.
