Pan-Oston is seeking high-potential, highly motivated and skilled team players to join our team!

We have an immediate opening for the following position:

2nd Shift Machine Operator

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

  • Work in a fast-paced environment
  • Operate specialty machinery to fabricate products
  • Maintain and monitor machine to make sure it functions properly
  • Understand how operated machine works
  • Verify adequate materials and supplies are available to complete operations as needed
  • Operate/monitor equipment during production to ensure quality and minimal unplanned stops
  • Communicate with team members as needed to ensure production of the correct product with minimal wasted time and materials
  • Report defective machine or materials to management
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and assist in other work areas
  • Complete and maintain paperwork for parts
  • Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations
  • Perform appropriate duties as assigned

MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS (Skills & Abilities)

  • Ability to read blueprints and production schematics
  • Aptitude for math, problem-solving, computers, and mechanics
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work and communicate well with others
  • Proficiency with hand tools
  • Willing to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods
  • Must be able to frequently lift/push/pull objects that are 40 pounds or heavier
  • Ability to work second shift hours
