Job description

Position Title: Special Education Teacher, ABS, ASD, or Multi-Categorical
Primary Location: TBD
Assignment Specifications: 1.0fte; 184 Days; 2026-27 School Year
Group Affiliation/Policy: Teachers
Classification: C-5-1
Exempt Status: Exempt
Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Building Principal, the licensed teacher is responsible for delivering and instructing students in instructional material; evaluating and assessing student progress against instructional outcomes and objectives; monitoring and evaluating student behavior; completing due process paperwork; participating in individual education plan meetings with colleagues and parents; participating and collaborating with other instructional professionals, administrators, parents, counselors, and other district personnel concerning student needs, issues and district learning initiatives, curriculum, and building issues.
Qualifications: Qualified candidates applying for this vacancy will hold, or be eligible to hold an Academic Behavior Strategist., ASD, or Multi-Categorical license issued by the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board.

Salary Range:  Salary scale is listed in attached Master Contract.  
BA Range: $52,020-$66,447
MA Range $61,915-$82,476
