Education - Teacher
Falcon Ridge Ranch is a licensed residential treatment center for girls age 12 to 18 who are experiencing emotional and behavioral problems but haven't thrived under the traditional care of outpatient treatment and require an out of home therapeutic setting. We offer hope, healing, and restoration through a unique blend of professional therapeutic services, academic instruction, and equine therapy. Our girls excel in a small, intimate and loving atmosphere where they get plenty of one-on-one support from youth mentors, therapists, teachers and professional staff.

The Job
The Math Teacher will create and implement effective and engaging lesson plans in the classroom to students on variety of ability levels.
Snapshot of Daily Duties

  • Create and implement lesson plans.
  • Teach to a variety of students on different ability and grade levels.
  • Provide effective classroom management skills.
  • Attend educational meetings as needed.
  • Work in a collaborative environment with all staff at Falcon Ridge Ranch.
  • Represent the educational department in a professional manner.
  • Complete educational testing on students.
  • Evaluate students' educational needs and plan curriculum accordingly.
  • Process a high volume of paperwork and reporting efficiently and effectively.
The Must Haves
  • Must have a current Utah Teaching License.
  • Must be Math Endorsed.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education.
  • Preferred experience working as a Math Teacher.
  • Must be able to meet the unique educational needs of all students.
  • Must have effective classroom management skills and demonstrate an enthusiasm and competence for working with special needs students.
