The Westbrook School Department is seeking a full time Special Education Teacher for a Resource setting at the High School level.ย  The position will require providing instruction for students in grades 9-12 with a range of academic and executive functioning needs within the special education and general education settings. The qualified candidates will be given: competitive salaries and benefits, three college courses paid each year (University of Maine rate), continued professional development, and opportunities for summer employment. Westbrook School District Special Services Department provides student-centered instruction to support the diverse learning needs of students districtwide, in grades kindergarten through high school. Our innovative and dedicated staff employ evidence based literacy and mathematics programs to promote student success. We offer programming and a variety of related services across a continuum of settings.
