System Engineer - Entry-Level (Test Analysis)
Why This is an Exciting Role:
As a System Engineer - Entry-Level (Test Analysis) at Boeing Intelligence and Analytics, you will be responsible for analyzing the performance of the Ground-based Midcourse Defense system in system-level test events, supporting the assessment of performance capabilities and opportunities for potential system performance improvements. Efforts will include coordinating with other analysts and resident Subject Matter Experts to determine root cause of performance observations, supporting the development of analysis reports/briefings to be briefed to customers/leadership, and developing Matlab/Python/Bash tools that support test data processing and analysis.

Experience and Qualifications:
To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
Required Education and Years of Experience:
  • Level P1: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor), or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
  • Level P2: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of stufy in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically two (2) or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Required Qualifications:
  • Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final US Secret Clearance pre-start is required.
  • Coding experience with MATLAB/Python.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong desire to learn, grow skillset, and take on new responsibilities independently.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Understanding of statistical analysis, distributions, and sampling.
  • Organizational and collaboration skills as demonstrated through leadership positions on teams and/or in student or civic organizations, etc.
  • Technical experiences as demonstrated through technical projects, research, engineering internships, or full-time engineering role, etc.
  • Coding experience with Bash.
  • Background experience in Aerospace and Defense.

Summary Pay Range:

Level P1: $61,000 - $109,000
Level P2: $76,000 - $135,000
