Job Responsibilities- Deployments and Upgrades: Help implement new systems and perform application/system updates.
- Script and Application Development: Write scripts or small applications to automate tasks.
- Development Support: Assist with development and user acceptance testing activities.
- Support troubleshooting efforts.
- Documentationand Training: Maintain accurate documentation for applicationsand training.
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesTechnicalKnowledge and Skills :- Must be familiar with using the Microsoft OS platform (Windows 11), MS Office suite (Word, Excel, etc). Linux/Unix skills are also preferred but not required.
- Must have coding skills in at least one or more languages. (example: C#, C++, PL/SQL, etc).
- Preferred to have some troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Preferred to have scripting skills in one or more scripting languages. (example: Bash, Python, etc)
- Preferred to have the ability to write and understand database SQL statements.
- Familiarity with accounting, finance, HR, payroll or business process concepts is beneficial but not required.
Professional& Interpersonal Skills- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
- Must have the ability to learn and use various logic and problem-solving techniques and show examples of such.
- Must be a self-learner and motivator, willingness to learn new technologies and adjust to dynamic work environments and team needs.
- Must have the ability to contribute positively to team efforts, share knowledge, and support group objectives.
AcademicProjects- College Coursework & Projects: The successful candidate will need to describe anyhands-on projects completed as part of their academic curriculum - such as aspecific application design and the programming steps/algorithms used. Detailsprovided of these types of projects will provide the candidate with a strongeradvantage and should be highlighted during the application submission andduring any subsequent interviews.
