Job description

Reporting to the Senior Principal Development Scientist, you will be an essential contributor to product development and innovation for our Foodservice team. You will help develop new products and improve existing offerings for Foodservice customers, bringing together food science knowledge, culinary curiosity, and consumer insights. Working from concept through commercialization, you will have the opportunity to make a direct impact while building your technical and project leadership skills.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Partner with Foodservice customers to develop and commercialize new products from concept through launch.

  • Support renovation and continuous improvement of existing products to meet business, regulatory, and customer needs.

  • Design and execute experiments, analyze results, and translate findings into product recommendations.

  • Lead product trials, plant validations, and commercialization activities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time while managing multiple priorities independently.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • Bachelor of Science in Food Science or a related field.

  • Internship, co-op, or professional experience in food product development, Foodservice, or a related area preferred.

  • Knowledge of food formulation, ingredient functionality, product development, and commercialization principles.

  • Understanding of food safety, quality systems, and Food and Drug Administration regulations.

  • Strong organization, communication, and project management skills.

  • Passion for food, culinary innovation, and solving customer challenges.

  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively with others.

  • Travel up to 20% to manufacturing sites in the Conagra network as needed.

Compensation

Pay Range:$59,000-$79,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity.Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
