Job description

At Every Step Inc., we are seeking three dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to join our team in Weston, Florida. In this role, you will design and implement individualized behavior intervention plans, conduct functional behavior assessments, and provide mentorship and training to behavior technicians. You will work closely with families to enhance behavior management at home and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in a related field, possess BCBA certification, and have experience with autistic individuals, with strong skills in ABA principles, data analysis, and effective communication.

Job Summary:

As a BCBA at Every Step Inc., you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and monitoring individualized behavior intervention plans for our clients. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including behavior technicians and parents, to ensure each client's highest level of care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assessment and Treatment Planning:

- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the root causes of challenging behaviors.

- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment results.

- Use data-driven methods to track and analyze client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.

- Supervision and Training:

- Supervise and mentor behavior technicians and other team members.

- Provide ongoing training and support to ensure the implementation of behavior plans with fidelity.

- Conduct regular team meetings to review client progress and address any concerns.

- Client and Family Support:

- Collaborate with families to understand their goals and provide training to support behavior management at home.

- Maintain clear and open communication with clients, families, and other stakeholders.

- Provide guidance and support to families to enhance their understanding and involvement in the treatment process.

- Documentation and Compliance:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including session notes, progress reports, and treatment plans.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations and agency policies and procedures.

- Prepare and submit reports and documentation as required.

Qualifications:

- Education and Certification:

- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.

- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA or BCaBA) is required.

- Active state licensure as a Mental Health (LMHC) or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

- Experience:

- Previous experience working in the area with autistic children, adults in-home, schools, ADTs is preferred

- Experience in supervising and training behavior technicians or other staff is preferred.

- Skills and Abilities:

- Strong knowledge of ABA principles and practices. Code of Ethics

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Proficiency in data collection and analysis software.
