As a Marketing Operations Manager on the Marketing team, a typical day for you will include:

  • Manage, coach, and support a technical marketing operations team, overseeing workload prioritization, capacity planning, performance management, skill development, and day-to-day issue resolution.
  • Ensureaccurateandtimelydelivery of email and SMS campaigns, including intake, audience segmentation, personalization, testing, QA, deployment, monitoring, and launch readiness.
  • Establish and improve campaign build standards, QA processes, documentation, automation, reusable templates, scalable frameworks, and operational best practices to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with Data, Product, Analytics, Engineering,MarTech, Creative, Legal, and external vendors to align business requirements,validatedata and technical dependencies, and mitigate launch risks.
  • Maintain adherence to email and SMS regulations, consent management requirements, deliverability best practices, data governance standards, and internal review processes while minimizing defects and rework.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for technical and operational issues, driving root-cause resolution, performance optimization, testing initiatives, and ongoing improvements in team capabilities and campaign execution.

(Required qualifications)

  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in marketing automation, CRM, lifecycle marketing, email/SMS operations, campaign production, technical marketing operations, or a related digital marketing role.
    • Hands-on experience building, QA'ing, deploying, or troubleshooting campaigns in marketing automation platforms such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud,Iterable, Responsys, Eloqua, HubSpot, Broadly, or similar systems.
    • Strong working knowledge of email and SMS campaign execution, including campaign setup, segmentation, personalization, dynamic content, triggered journeys, audience logic, suppression rules, subscription groups, link tracking, rendering QA, and deployment readiness.
    • Technical fluency with HTML, CSS, Liquid or similar scripting logic, dynamic content, personalization rules, reusable templates, QA tools, and email rendering best practices.
    • Working knowledge of customer data structures, CRM/CDP environments, APIs, webhooks, event triggers, data feeds, consent fields, suppression logic, preference management, and marketing data workflows.
    • Proven ability to troubleshoot technical campaign issues, evaluate root causes, partner with data and technology teams, document decisions, and communicate risks clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Experience managing campaign throughput, SLAs, production calendars, QA cycles, launch readiness, capacity planning, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong understanding of email and SMS compliance and deliverability considerations, including CAN-SPAM, TCPA, CCPA, unsubscribe requirements, consent management, opt-out processing, list hygiene, and sender reputation.
    • Ability to translate business requirements into technical campaign requirements,identifymissing inputs, clarify logic, document dependencies, and help the team move toward scalable execution.

    • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, across cross-functional teams.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Education:
