Job Overview:
Join our dedicated behavioral health team at Children's Specialized Hospital as a Supervisor within our RUCARES Pediatric Feeding Disorders program. In this clinical leadership role, you will oversee the development, direct supervision, and implementation of advanced assessment and treatment protocols for patients diagnosed with developmental disabilities and complex feeding disorders. Operating under the guidance of BCBA-D Clinical Managers, you will spearhead staff mentorship, administrative operations, and ongoing clinical research to improve long-term outcomes for pediatric populations and their families.
Qualifications:
Required:
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related mental health field completed within three (3) months of start date.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required within six (6) months of start date.
  • Active American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) Provider certification.
  • Proven competency in managing stressful clinical situations, exhibiting exceptional patience, and maintaining a high level of professional demeanor.

Preferred:
  • Minimum of one (1) year of specialized clinical experience supervising behavior-analytic work with children diagnosed with pediatric feeding disorders, autism spectrum disorders, or related behavioral conditions.
  • Experience delivering training, clinical supervision, or mentoring to multidisciplinary healthcare staff, pre-doctoral interns, or students within an instructional setting.
  • Proficiency in clinical data tracking, research protocol compilation, and spreadsheet data entry.

Essential Functions:
  • Clinical Supervision & Applied Behavior Analysis: Coordinate, direct, and execute patient intake, consent workflows, and discharge activities; review, analyze, and edit initial drafts of session descriptions, progress notes, and treatment fidelity sheets.
  • Program Development: Design, refine, and monitor customized skill-acquisition programs (e.g., self-feeding, chewing, and increasing consumption of healthy foods) and behavior-reduction plans (e.g., extinction protocols and functional communication training).
  • Administrative Leadership: Interview, hire, train, and supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and pre-doctoral interns; conduct annual performance evaluations and manage interdisciplinary staff scheduling.
  • Caregiver Integration: Direct and conduct specialized training protocols for parents, guardians, and school personnel to ensure consistent treatment plan execution across home and community environments.
  • Clinical Operations & Quality Control: Oversee the creation of data-collection protocols, maintain therapeutic environment safety compliance, develop staff training materials, and participate actively in multidisciplinary peer-review meetings.
  • Research Coordination: Supervise clinical research initiatives including IRB protocol development, abstract editing, manuscript writing, and the creation of presentations for regional, national, and international conferences.
