THE WORK
The Manufacturing Project Manager role is at the RMS Palm Beach site. The Palm Beach site is a small & dynamic factory specializing in the manufacturing and test of Remotely Operated Undersea Vehicles, Manned Submersibles and Autonomous Undersea Vehicles including both production and prototyping. Successful candidate will be responsible acting as the cross functional Operations Lead on Manufacturing Projects including:
Managing project life cycle from plan development and start up through schedule, resource, and task management to evaluation and close out on assigned products.
Responsibility for the projects Operations Cost, Quality and Schedule commitments.
Strong understanding of MRP and pegging.
Strong communication and presentation skills including presenting to customer, program and functional leadership.
Lead proposal efforts.
Identify and lead continuous improvement opportunities to drive program performance.
Knowledge of Operations and Quality Command Media processes.
Please Note: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
WHO YOU ARE
You are a project leader with expertise in SAP MRP systems, continuous improvement, and the ability to manage multi-faceted programs. You possess the strong communication skills necessary to interface effectively with customers and senior leadership to drive operational success.
A level 4 employee is senior career and typically has 5+ years of professional experience.
