Job description

At Chick-fil-A Mack Ave, we're not just serving food-we'regrowing leaders. Our Shift Leaders set the tone for excellence, guiding the team with patience, care, and a sense of fun. As a Shift Leader, you will oversee day-to-day operations, develop Team Members, and contribute to a positive and healthy culture. You'll also be paired with a Director or the Owner/Operator, Manda Taylor, to help guide your leadership journey.

What You'll Do

  • Lead AM or PM shifts 3-4 times per week, supporting other leaders and ensuring smooth operations on other shifts
  • Model and uphold Chick-fil-A brand standards (food safety, cleanliness, speed, hospitality, and food quality)
  • Create consistency in daily operations by fostering teamwork, positivity, and organization
  • Ensure Team Members are trained, equipped, and empowered to provideRemarkable experiencesto every guest
  • Coach Team Members in food safety, speed, quality, and hospitality
  • Monitor shift accountability, cash handling, and restaurant cleanliness/safety
  • Solve operational challenges and keep shifts running smoothly
  • Master all positions in either Front of House (Hospitality) or Back of House (Kitchen)

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: 1+ years of Chick-fil-A experience or 2+ years of leadership experience in food service
  • Skills: Strong communication, cash management, problem solving, and leadership skills
  • Character: Humble, coachable, and committed to creating a healthy team environment
  • Physical Requirements:Applicants must be capable of physically demanding tasks, including, but not limited to: lifting 30-50 lbs., lifting above the head, repetitive motion, and standing for extended periods of time. Shift Leaders may expect to be outdoors for several hours per shift, year round (with proper safety gear). Reasonable accommodation(s) will be considered upon request
