Nurse Intern Position

Responsibilities As part of a patient-first approach, nurse interns are given a valuable opportunity to partner with a registered nurse, nurse preceptor, or other licensed healthcare professional to develop critical thinking skills and experience to ensure a smooth transition in clinical practice upon graduation from an accredited nursing or other accredited occupational program. Creates and nurtures relationships with patients, family, community, colleagues, and staff in a caring and healing environment, exercising teamwork skills within a professional practice environment. Strives for excellent patient safety and quality outcomes. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
