Job Title: Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Job Duties:

Design and implement image processing solutions to enhance operational workflows and fraud detection. Duties include:

  • Design, develop, and maintain AI solutions for backend applications related to document analytics;
  • Conduct research and implement AI agents using large language models (LLMs);
  • Deploy LLM agents to automate various business processes including document processing, information retrieval, fraud analytics, and other operational tasks;
  • Mentor Data Scientists and Junior Engineers in best practices for programming, Machine Learning Operations (MLOps), and Large Language Model Operations (LLMOps); and in use of various big data processing tools, machine learning frameworks, and cloud computing concepts;
  • Research Computer Vision (CV) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) algorithms to address technical challenges in document analytics field;
  • Conduct research and development of image processing algorithms for intelligent document processing;
  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to enable data analytics workflows;
  • Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable SQL queries and cloud deployments of automated reporting pipelines using big data technologies;
  • Write and maintain code repositories for AI solutions using the Python;
  • Deploy AI solutions on cloud platforms;
  • Identify new opportunities to apply NLP, CV, LLMs, and other AI techniques to optimize business processes;
  • Conduct data science and machine learning experiments to discover data-driven solutions.

Work Arrangement Requirement Hybrid from Boston Office (3 days from office, 2 days from home)

Minimum Requirements:

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or closely related field and 2 years of machine learning engineering, computer vision engineering, or perception engineering experience. Employer will also accept Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or closely related field and 5 years of machine learning engineering, computer vision engineering, or perception engineering experience.

Experience must include the following, which may be gained concurrently:

  • 2 years of experience with programming languages including Python and C++.
  • 2 years of experience developing and deploying AI solutions including computer vision, natural language processing, and Large Language Model (LLM) based applications.
  • 2 years of experience using high-performance and real-time computer vision and image processing algorithms.
  • 2 years of experience building and deploying back-end AI applications within cloud infrastructure environments.
  • 2 years of experience using Agile methodology.
  • 2 years of experience conducting algorithm research and development including Computer Vision, Optical Character Recognition, and Natural Language Processing.
  • 2 years of experience with SQL including building queries and coding for comprehensive data needs.
  • 1 year of experience using cloud data practices.

Salary range is expected to be between

$107,450.00 USD - $199,550.00 USD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
