Job Summary:
MOM's Organic Market is a company focused on creating a positive work environment and promoting from within. They are seeking an Application Developer I responsible for creating, maintaining, and supporting tools that improve productivity for stores and Central Store Support.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop software solutions to agreed requirements using a range of languages and technologies and follow coding best practices.
• Provide accurate reporting, develop tools, solutions and the systems that host and support them.
• Perform backend tasks (software, hardware) to ensure the data warehouse is operating optimally.
• Create and/or maintain tools that improve productivity for CSS departments and Stores.
• Create and/or maintain user documentation for MOM's business application/tools.
• Provide technical assistance/advice for troubleshooting on software related to Inventory management, Point of Sale (POS), scales and other back office systems.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's in related field or equivalent experience and education
• 2+ years' experience in application/software development
• Intermediate level math skills (Algebra to Precalculus)
• Previous experience with coding (specifically Java, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Standard SQL, Python, Machine Learning frameworks, prompt engineering)
• Experience with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Mac OS and Windows OS
• Excellent attention to detail, especially with communication (written and verbal) and meeting deadlines
• Ability to prioritize tasks that change frequently and manage unexpected demands
• Dependable, follows instructions and takes initiative to solve problems
• Experience in a fast-paced work environment
• Interest in company culture and desire to grow in the field
