Job description

Redefine the future of customer experiences. One conversation at a time.
At Nextiva, we're reimagining how businesses connect, bringing together customer experience and team collaboration on a single, conversation centric platform. Powered by AI, driven by human innovation.
Our culture is forward thinking, customer obsessed and built on the belief that meaningful connections drive better business outcomes. Whether it's through our signature Amazing Service®, the technology we create, or the experiences we cultivate, connection is at the core of who we are.
If you're ready to collaborate with incredible people, make an impact, and help businesses everywhere deliver truly amazing experiences, this is where you belong.
Location: This is an onsite role based at Nextiva's Scottsdale headquarters (9451 E. Via de Ventura, Scottsdale, AZ 85256). Working together onsite strengthens how we operate, enabling faster decisions, clearer communication, and stronger execution, so you can make a greater impact and move work forward with speed and clarity.
In-Office Expectation: This role is expected to work onsite five days per week. Specific scheduling and flexibility will be guided by your leader to support both team collaboration and individual productivity.
The Role
Nextiva spends tens of millions of dollars on marketing every year. We generate billions of customer conversations. We have one of the richest GTM datasets in B2B SaaS, and marketing itself is being rebuilt around AI agents. The companies that figure this out first will operate with fewer people, more leverage, and faster cycles than anyone else in the market. We're going to be one of those companies, and you're going to help us build it.
You'll partner with Marketing, RevOps, BI, and Finance to turn our data into decisions, and you'll ship the AI agents that make those decisions faster: for traffic intelligence, lead qualification, opportunity surfacing, and the ones we haven't named yet.
What You'll Do
Marketing Intelligence & Analytics:
  • Analyze marketing, pipeline, and revenue performance to help surface trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Support deep-dive analyses on the ambiguous business questions that don't fit in a dashboard
  • Help translate data into clear, actionable recommendations for marketing leadership
  • Learn to build frameworks for measuring marketing effectiveness across channels and funnel stages

AI Agents & Automation:
  • Build agentic workflows using Cursor, Claude, OpenAI, and other frontier models
  • Wire agents to our data and tools: HubSpot, Salesforce, our data warehouse, GA, Teams, Slack, and internal APIs
  • Prototype, deploy, iterate, measure, repeat
  • Use AI-assisted analysis to uncover trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities at scale

Data Strategy & Quality:
  • Partner with Marketing Ops, RevOps, and BI to help evolve our marketing data ecosystem into something scalable and trustworthy
  • Help identify gaps and inefficiencies in how we measure, and support the work to fix them

What Success Looks Like
  • Marketing leadership trusts the data and the agents you build
  • Hard questions get answered faster, with sharper clarity
  • Your agents move from prototype into production
  • You graduate having shipped something real, measured in business outcomes, not lines of code

What We're Looking For
  • Current student or recent grad in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Marketing Analytics, or a related technical field
  • At least one prior internship or a substantial academic or personal project in analytics, data science, or applied AI
  • Comfortable in Python and SQL, and comfortable in chaos
  • Already shipping AI projects on your own time
  • Curious about marketing, sales, and the GTM side of a software business
  • Strong opinions about what AI can and can't do today
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments

Preferred
  • Experience with BI and visualization platforms (Tableau, Looker, Power BI) or CRM and marketing automation tools
  • Exposure to modern data warehouse environments or analytics engineering concepts
  • Attribution modeling, funnel analysis, or forecasting exposure
  • B2B SaaS or GTM analytics experience

Nextiva DNA (Core Competencies)
Nextiva's most successful team members share common traits and behaviors:

  • Work-Life Balance: Flexible Time Off for salaried employees, PTO for hourly employees, Paid Sick Time, Paid Parental Bonding Leave, and holiday pay
  • Financial Security: 401(k) with company match, Health Savings Accounts with company contributions, Dependent Care FSA
  • Wellness: Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and comprehensive wellness initiatives
  • Growth: Access to ongoing learning and development opportunities and career advancement
