Job Title: Logistics Analyst 1Job Description
The Logistics Analyst 1 coordinates and expedites the flow of work and materials within and between departments according to the production schedule. This role focuses on reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules, while compiling detailed reports on inventory levels, costs, and related data. The analyst supports efficient production operations by ensuring materials, documentation, and data are accurate, timely, and aligned with organizational standards and requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Examine documents, materials, and products to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformity to established standards and specifications.
  • Monitor work processes across departments to ensure production activities follow schedules and meet quality and performance expectations.
  • Review production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel requirements, material needs, and material priorities.
  • Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures, in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies required to meet ongoing and forecasted production demands.
  • Compile and analyze reports on inventory levels, costs, and related operational metrics to support data-driven decision making.
  • Use Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and V/X lookups, to organize, analyze, and present production, cost, and inventory data.
  • Apply knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production when reviewing documentation and coordinating materials.
  • Accurately document and record customer and client information in relevant systems and reports.
  • Demonstrate accountability by following through on assigned tasks, meeting deadlines, and supporting continuous improvement in logistics planning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders using clear verbal and written communication to resolve issues and optimize workflows.
  • Utilize data analytics to identify trends, issues, and opportunities in production and logistics performance.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
