Job description

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Administrator to join our team in Doral, FL. This position is fully on-site and utilizes a Panama Schedule which includes three, 12 hour shifts, followed by three days off, repeating. This team also utilizes a rotating day/night schedule, so selected candidate will rotate between nights and days every 3 months. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Manages the day-to-day administration and maintenance of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization technologies, ensuring reliable operation and optimal performance.
* Installs and upgrades computer components and software, manages virtual servers, and implements automation processes to streamline IT operations.
* Troubleshoots hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, and prioritizing issues based on impact.
* Creates and maintains comprehensive system documentation, including configuration guides, troubleshooting procedures, and inventory records, while performing regular backup operations and implementing data protection measures.
* Provides support to Desktop and Enterprise Service Desk Teams, monitors installed systems and infrastructure for optimal performance and resource use and receives guidance from senior staff. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelors' degree in an IT-related discipline. 4 additional years' Systems Administration experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
* Two (2) or more years of Systems Administration experience.
* Must hold two certifications (Obtained or renewed within the past 2 years):
* DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification
* Microsoft AZ-104 OR MD-102 (Must be obtained within 30 days of starting) Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with scripting languages and automation tools such as Ansible, Salt, or Puppet.
* Relevant industry-standard certifications such as Microsoft, Red Hat Linux, AWS, VMware, CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP.
* Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired. Clearance Requirements: * Must have a current/active Secret clearance.
* Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance. Physical Requirements: * Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
* Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
* The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
