Position Summary

As part of the Design Validation Test (DVT) team of the Westborough Product Design Center, ensure all new products released to manufacture fully meet their stated product specifications and are robust and reliable when subjected to all required environmental and other stress conditions.

Job Duties/Responsibilities
  • Develop and conduct tests on power converters in NPI process, ensuring all products meet the standards and specifications
  • Actively participates in cross-functional team meetings in areas of product development and sustaining engineering.
  • Define test requirements and write test procedures for new products designed for new and existing markets as needed.
  • Preparation of documentation deliverables for pre-release and final production release to support the verification and validation of products.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain test processes for new product designs, primarily using LabVIEW.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues and solving test problems
  • Design, test, debug, and repair ATE test systems, fixtures and other test fixtures.
  • Create wiring diagrams and assembly instructions.
  • Create schematics and BOM's for ATE, Burn-in, and Hi-pot interface solutions for power conversion products.
  • Attend meetings and prepare reports to provide project or issue status, accomplishment, objective, or specific requested information.
Experience Required
  • Master's or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent education and 0-3 yrs of relevant experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of LabVIEW and Chroma software is desired.
  • DC-DC Converter experience is a plus
  • Hi-Pot Test Hardware experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with test platforms using Automated Test Equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
  • Troubleshooting experience of electronic circuitry.
  • Experience and familiarity with EE bench test equipment and use (Oscilloscopes, DMM, data-loggers, power supplies, etc)

This position is an on-site role, with 1 flex day per week of remote work.

The salary range for this role is $80,000/year - $92,500/year.
