Position Summary

Role and Responsibilities

Responsible for performing functions associated with improving and controlling the current processes or products manufactured at SAS facilities. Prioritize multiple tasks and assist with identifying risks that support safety programs for an advanced semiconductor facility. Work as part of a diverse safety team to help strengthen our safety culture and improve hazard elimination. Anticipate, identify, and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices during task performance at a semiconductor facility. Develop hazard control designs, methods, procedures, and programs; and advise and educate others. Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of hazard control elements. Evaluate task performance to ensure compliance with site and regulatory requirements. Document and track results to support safety program elements. Conduct incident investigations, site inspections, identify root cause, determine corrective actions, and support implementation. Conduct employee training for education on site safety requirements. Conduct monthly meetings with safety subcommittee. Review and audit pre-task plans, site risk analyses and standard operating procedures. Assist with the daily management of the tiered auditing program including closure of facility's preventative and corrective action plan. (Multiple Openings)

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field and completion of an undergraduate-level course, research project, or internship involving the following: 1. Python to run scripts for automation; 2. SolidWorks; 3. Autodesk Inventor; 4. LabVIEW (graphing tool for controls system design); 5. MATLAB; 6. CFD Modeling of fluid flows and thermal systems using Ansys; 7. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using Ansys for structural analysis of systems; and 8. Static and dynamic system modeling.

The current base salary range for this role is between $90,250 to $110,250. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
