Position Summary
This position is located in Westlake, OH
The Supply Planning Analyst is responsible for supporting supply planning activities by translating demand forecasts into feasible supply and inventory plans. This role focuses on learning planning processes, evaluating constraints, and supporting demand-supply reconciliation under the guidance of senior Supply Planning Analysts and planning leadership.
The Supply Planning Analyst partners with Demand Planning, Procurement, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to develop foundational skills in inventory strategy, scenario analysis, and supply risk identification while executing within established planning frameworks, tools, and standard work.
Essential Job Functions
Support development and maintenance of supply and inventory plans based on demand forecasts, lead times, and planning parameters.
Monitor supply signals, inventory levels, and basic capacity constraints; flag risks or exceptions to senior Supply Planning Analysts or supervisors.
Assist with demand-supply reconciliation activities and preparation of inputs for Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) discussions.
Execute planning transactions and maintain accurate planning data in ERP and planning systems.
Support cross-functional communication with Procurement, Demand Planning, and Operations regarding supply status and routine execution issues.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to planning accuracy, inventory performance, and planning process effectiveness.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, Analytics, or a related field.

A minimum of 2 years of equivalent professional experience in supply chain operations, planning support, procurement, or related roles in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Foundational understanding of supply chain and planning concepts.
Ability to analyze data, identify basic trends, and follow established planning processes.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ability to learn ERP and planning systems.
Ability to manage routine tasks, meet deadlines, and operate in a team-based environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Internship or co-op experience in supply chain, planning, procurement, or operations.
Exposure to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or planning systems (e.g., Systems, Applications & Products in Data Processing (SAP), JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE), Oracle, Advanced Planner & Optimizer (APO) Kinaxis).
Experience working in a manufacturing, distribution, or operations environment.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Primarily desk-based work in an office or hybrid environment.
Regular use of standard office equipment (computer, phone, collaboration tools).
Minimal travel expected (<5%).
Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer for prolonged durations.
Ability to work extended hours during planning cycles when needed.
