Job description

About Marvell

Marvell's semiconductor solutions are the essential building blocks of the data infrastructure that connects our world. Across enterprise, cloud and AI, and carrier architectures, our innovative technology is enabling new possibilities.

At Marvell, you can affect the arc of individual lives, lift the trajectory of entire industries, and fuel the transformative potential of tomorrow. For those looking to make their mark on purposeful and enduring innovation, above and beyond fleeting trends, Marvell is a place to thrive, learn, and lead.

Your Team, Your Impact

We're seeking a candidate with strong problem solving and analytical skills to join the Supply Chain Planning group. You'll collaborate with global cross-functional teams of Business Operations, Marketing, Engineering, and Suppliers to support corporate revenue goals and manage on-time delivery expectations by ensuring optimal supply.
At Marvell, every single chip that we design, put into production, and eventually ship, has a team that includes a supply chain planner. You'll be managing the outside vendors for that chip project including the foundry, assembly, testing, warehousing, and others. You'll be coordinating the instructions we provide them, scheduling materials, and making sure dates are met. At Marvell, you'll also be working closely with your internal chip design team and doing some aspects of project management with them as well. Unlike at some other companies, this role comprises external vendor management and internal project management.

What You Can Expect

Strategic Planning & Execution

- Owning BU-specific supply plans aligned with corporate strategy and customer demand.

- Collaborate with NPI and HVM planning teams to ensure seamless product transitions and supply continuity.

- Drive quarterly alignment across BU, Sales, and Finance on revenue forecasts and build plans.

Operational Expertise

- Work on allocation of capacity for constrained products, balancing delivery goals and inventory targets.

- Collaborate with cross functional teams (packaging, OSATs, planning) to alleviate constraints associated with substrates and backend components.

- Manage product lifecycle planning, including ramp-up, sustainment, and end-of-life transitions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Partner with Sales Operations, Demand Planning, Engineering, and IT to optimize planning tools and processes.

- Coordinate with external partners (foundries, OSATs) to ensure supply chain agility and responsiveness.

Performance Management

- Institutionalize KPIs and dashboards for plan vs. actual monitoring.

- Drive continuous improvement through root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

- Ensure forecast accuracy and bias reduction through systematic and consensus-based forecasting.

Customer Engagement

- Prioritize customer delivery escalations and resolve supply constraints.

- Support critical customer programs and ensure on-time delivery performance.

What We're Looking For

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Operations, or a related field.

- 8 to 12 years of experience in semiconductor supply chain operations, with demonstrated ownership of complex, cross-functional program management.

- Proven expertise in supply, demand, capacity, and inventory planning.

- Effective team player and cross-functional collaboration skills.

- Strong analytical and data management skills, including experience with planning systems, and driving data accuracy across ERP and reporting tools. Experience with Kinaxis is highly desirable.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

106,800 - 160,000, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
