We are seeking a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our growing Technology team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the full software development lifecycle while working on modern web applications, cloud technologies, business intelligence solutions, and emerging Generative AI initiatives. In this role, you'll contribute to the development and enhancement of mission-critical applications that support a leading law firm. This position is remote, and consideration will be given to those near the Philadelphia office or surrounding areas, with the expectation to work in the office as needed.

Your Role:

As a Junior Software Engineer within our Information Technology Team, you will:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance web-based applications using C# and .NET.

  • Design, build, and support APIs that power business applications.

  • Participate in the modernization of applications by helping migrate existing systems to ReactJS and Next.js.

  • Support and maintain legacy applications built with MVC and AngularJS.

  • Develop and maintain reports using Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

  • Query, manage, and manipulate data within SQL databases.

  • Contribute to Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

  • Assist with support and maintenance of Azure-hosted applications, including App Services and Functions.

  • Work with Docker and Azure Container Registry (ACR) where applicable.

  • Support and enhance Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and developers to deliver software solutions.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve software defects.

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practices.

  • Recommend and implement improvements to existing applications and processes.

  • Support innovative initiatives involving Generative AI technologies.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based application environments.

  • Experience with Power BI, SSRS, and/or Power Platform solutions.

  • Exposure to Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Agile development practices, and modern software delivery processes preferred.

  • Preferred experience with Docker, Generative AI technologies, and professional services or legal industry environments.

The targeted salary range for this position is from $75,000 - $95,000, which reflects the firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual pay will depend on several factors such as the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location.
