  • Collaborate with the Sr. AI Architect to plan, implement, and integrate AI capabilities, including LLM APIs and AI-assisted features, into scalable, maintainable solutions that span the firm's legal technology stack, including custom applications leveraging data from Aderant, Dayforce, Intapp, SharePoint Online, and the firm's MS Fabric Data Lakehouse.
  • Design and develop agentic AI applications that automate multi-step legal workflows, integrating large language models, tool-calling, and orchestration frameworks to deliver intelligent, process-driven solutions across the firm's practice groups.
  • Maintain a structured intake and delivery pipeline for AI-assisted application requests, applying engineering rigor, security review, data governance standards, and integration best practices to ensure each solution meets firm-wide quality and compliance requirements.

  • Leverage Claude Code within VS Code and other AI-powered development tools to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, and drive engineering efficiency.
  • Provide escalation-level troubleshooting and support for internally developed applications, serving as a subject matter expert for complex issues across the team's application portfolio.
  • Mentor junior software engineers through code reviews, pair programming, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in QA processes, patch management, release control, and ongoing production support for application services.
  • Collaborate with IT infrastructure, data engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, tools, and best practices, particularly in AI-assisted development and Microsoft technologies.

Essential Job Requirements:
  • 5 - 7+ years of full-stack software development experience with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies.
  • Proficiency in C#, .NET (Core and Framework), React, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and T-SQL.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs and web services (JSON, REST, XML, SOAP).
  • Proven hands-on experience with MS SQL Server, including schema design, stored procedures, query optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating AI tools and services into the software development lifecycle, including AI-assisted coding, LLM API integrations, or intelligent workflow automation.
  • Proven experience using Claude Code integrated with VS Code (or equivalent AI-powered IDE tooling) as part of a regular development workflow.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work quickly in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with a track record of managing competing priorities effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning, code quality, and technical rigor.
