Connected Logistics is seeking to hire a Jr. Software Developer to support a DLA client's full software development lifecycle; to provide in-depth knowledge of requirements development, system design, system performance, and software programming; and to design and manage the database and deployment of software.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience through internships, military service, projects, or professional development.
  • General understanding of object-oriented programming, web development, relational databases, and software testing.
  • Exposure to C#, VB.NET, .NET, JavaScript, SQL, or comparable technologies through coursework, projects, internships, or employment.
  • Familiarity with Git, source control concepts, debugging, and peer review.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, and teamwork skills, with a willingness to learn both modern and legacy technologies.
  • Interest in using AI-assisted development tools responsibly to support coding, testing, research, and documentation.
  • Ability to work onsite three days per week.
  • U.S. citizen with a current T3 investigation.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with .NET 8+, React, Angular, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL Server, Entity Framework, or another ORM.
  • Familiarity with APIs and web application development.
  • Exposure to automated testing and modern software development practices.
  • Exposure to AI coding tools, agents, MCP servers, or retrieval-augmented generation.
  • Experience related to Department of Defense systems, military logistics, finance, property accountability, maintenance, supply chain, or enterprise applications
  • Prior experience supporting the DLA Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) or the DLA Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS).
