Job description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Inside Sales Engineer to join our team. This role is focused on developing technical expertise, supporting customers, and contributing to project execution within a fast-paced HVAC sales environment.

The position offers hands-on experience with real-world applications, system selection, and direct interaction with customers and manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:

· Support customers (mechanical contractors, engineers, and equipment dealers) via phone and email in a technical sales capacity

· Review project requirements, provide equipment selections, and generate pricing proposals

· Assist with job processing and order execution using internal systems

· Utilize manufacturer selection software to size and configure equipment

· Develop product knowledge through direct interaction with manufacturers

· Participate in internal sales meetings related to active projects, forecasts, and market conditions

NOTE: High-performing individuals will have the opportunity to grow into roles in Outside Sales or Application Engineering

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
  • 0–3+ years of relevant experience (internships or industry exposure preferred but not required)
  • Interest in HVAC systems and technical sales
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and desire to learn
