What are the key skills and qualifications needed for an internship IoT testing?

To thrive in an Internship IoT Testing role, a foundational understanding of electronics, networking, and programming (often with languages like Python or C/C++) is essential, typically supported by coursework or a related degree. Familiarity with IoT platforms, testing tools such as Wireshark, and basic knowledge of protocols like MQTT or CoAP are commonly required. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective communication are crucial soft skills for diagnosing issues and collaborating with engineering teams. These skills and qualities are vital to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of IoT devices and systems.
