Interns typically assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with tasks such as animal care, administering medications, preparing animals for procedures, and maintaining clinic cleanliness. These internships provide valuable learning opportunities, exposure to various animal health cases, and insight into daily clinic operations, helping interns decide if a veterinary career is right for them.
