Job Title: Plant Process Engineer - Automation

Location: 741 Beechroft Rd, Spring Hill, TN 37174

Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours a week, Monday - Friday

Job Duties: Primary lead for implementing and maintenance of Digital Factory systems and work closely with IT/IS teams to ensure systems are operating at peak efficiency. Assist in installation and programing with supplier. Debug, troubleshoot, maintain and modify auto equipment. Select the right tools and systems according to business needs. Formalize connection between MES/traceability system and automation equipment. Participate to impacts analysis on MES: new projects, new flows, and update of FMEA. Ensure PLC Integration for MES go live according to E&L plant deployment plan. Develop, coordinate and implement training programs with full documentation, based on procedures and solution documents and user's guide. Define test plans and create documentation. Design and control software testing. Participate in software testing. Integrate new solutions into OP existing system. Provide clear report/follow-up of process means modification/implementation. Improve production throughput by refining PLC logic to reduce cycle time. Implementation of AI software linked to PLC/MES to detect product defects resulting in 10% Quality right first time. Reduce energy consumption on non-critical equipment by modifying PLC to energy savings mode. Achieve 100% compliance with all automated equipment by adhering and applying ISO & OSHA safety standards

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field of study and 5 (five) years of experience as a PLC Programmer, Expert PLC, Control Engineer, or related role where required experience gained.

Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field of study and 3 (three) years of experience as a PLC Programmer, Expert PLC, Control Engineer, or related role where required experience gained.

Also requires experience in the following:

PLC/HMI configuration and programing (such as Siemens)

PLC maintenance

Assembly paint and injection manufacturing for plastics/composites

SCADA system and industrial IT hands-on robotics

Network concepts and protocols

MES and Information flows

OPC server/middleware

Salary: $122,096.00 per year.
