About the Role  Are you an experienced Mold Designer looking to utilize your experience and skills within a collaborative environment. This position is responsible for Designing various types of injection mold tools using Computer Aided Design (CAD).   The pay range for this salaried position is $81,793 - $106,331 | FLSA: ExemptYour Impact- Creates complex mold and fixture designs per customer specifications and department standards; ensures high quality and accuracy of designs.

- Leads high complexity projects with multiple molds or dies and with multiple types of auxiliary tooling. - Responsible for modeling complex product assemblies using Siemens NX CAD surfacing software. - Demonstrates advanced knowledge of injection mold, wax die, & ceramic die types and their structures; manages high complexity projects (i.e

conventional slides/lifters, hot runner system, high cavitation molds, stack molds, high tolerance products, multi shot, complicated hand manipulated movements, etc.). - Manages complex tool packages (i.e. multi tool package with multiple types of auxiliary tooling); effectively communicates with other groups involved in the process; ensures tool design is aligned with production requirements

- Communicates with internal and external customers and effectively coordinates all information necessary to complete mold design. - Makes recommendations for improvements to tooling concepts; effectively communicates improvements, benefits of improvements and/or changes needed to the customer. - Will be responsible for checking mold designs of other Designers for accuracy and adherence to design standards.

- Troubleshoots and modifies elements to resolve design issues. - Mentors Mold Designers I & II and provides assistance to peer Mold Designers as needed. About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring- Bachelor's Degree in Design or Mechanical Engineering and 5-8 years mold design experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience and 4 years as an experienced Tool Maker plus 7 years mold design experience.

- Advance knowledge of Mold Flow software; experience running and crafting mold flow reports a plus. - Proficient with Computer Aided Machining (CAM) programming for toolpath and Autodesk PowerMill a plus. - Proficient with CAD solid modeling system; experience with NX CAD.
