Job description

Injection Molding Technician III

Location: Foothill Ranch, CA 92610 — Onsite

Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM–9:00 PM

Pay: $40.79/hour + $2.00 shift differential

Position: Permanent | Start: ASAP | Openings: 1

Job Summary

Client is seeking an experienced Mold Tech III to manufacture, repair, and maintain custom injection mold components using CNC and manual machining equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC and manual machines.

Create CNC programs using CAM software.

Perform injection mold repair, machining, grinding, maintenance, and inspections.

Read and interpret CAD drawings, mold component drawings, and 3D models.

Troubleshoot machining and fabrication issues.

Design and build jigs, fixtures, and clamping tools.

Use precision measuring instruments and perform complex setups.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

5+ years of CNC programming and machining experience, primarily with injection molds.

Experience with DMG Mori Seiki.

Experience with Mitsubishi EDM (Wire & Sinker).

Experience with Pro/E and/or SolidWorks.

Knowledge of GD&T and 3D modeling.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move up to 50 lbs.

Technical trade school experience is preferred.
