Title: Admin Assist (HR/Payroll)
Location: Deerfield, IL (On-site 5 days a week to begin -will move to hybrid once they are up to speed)
Duration: 6 Months
 
Initially fully onsite for training. Transition to hybrid schedule (3 days onsite) once fully trained and working independently.

Nice to Have Skills: Background in HR/Payroll business experience
Essential Functions:
• Assist with pre- and post-payroll auditing/reconciling procedures and troubleshoot anomalies.
• Generate and distribute standard and ad hoc payroll reports as required for partner teams.
• Process Daily Department Mail; Manage and distribute approximately 100 pieces of mail per week (both physical and electronic).
• Assist with completing employment verifications
• Assist with the collection and record-keeping of overpayments
• Assist with Historical Correction data entry for time tracking
• Unemployment management, workers’ compensation documentation
• Occupational Statistics reporting
• Assist with Monthly Tax & Garnishment Reconciliation and
• Assist with Payroll Accrual reporting
• Monitor and respond to inquiries sent to the shared Payroll inbox and partner ticketing management system
Education: 
• Bachelor’s degree not required, could be a student even.
• Minimum: High School Diploma
• Bachelor’s degree with HR internship experience is welcome.
• Master’s degree with internship experience is also acceptable.
 
Experience:
• General Payroll-related or HR environment experience (preferred)
• Strong organization skills and Microsoft Office
•1-2 years of experience in a professional setting
• Prior HCM system navigational knowledge
• Workday knowledge preferred but not required
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, diligent, and a strong self-starter.
• Ability to work independently and manage confidential information.
 
Schedule:
• Flexible working hours between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (approved overtime may be required).
• Initially fully onsite for training.
• Transition to hybrid schedule (3 days onsite) once fully trained and working independently.
 
Interview process: (Teams/Onsite, Length, Rounds, Team involved)- 2 rounds of interviews - both can be done remotely.
