Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student to join our Client Accounting & Advisory Services team. This internship offers hands-on experience in providing accounting and financial services to a diverse client base. You will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals and gain valuable insights into the operations of a financial services firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in performing day-to-day bookkeeping activities for clients using accounting software.
  • Assist in the preparation of 1099s, property tax returns, and payroll returns.
  • Prepare and reconcile bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
  • Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services to clients.
  • Participate in client meetings and conference calls as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in accounting.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Experience in Quickbooks, Sage, Bill.com and Excel is a plus.
