Job description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Help make an impact in the lives of students by providing essential school psychological services in a dynamic educational setting near West Columbia, SC. This contract opportunity offers a blend of onsite and virtual openings for skilled School Psychologists to collaborate closely with a dedicated team, supporting student success and well-being across a range of academic and mental health needs from August 2026 to May 2027.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a master’s degree in school psychology
  • Minimum two years of experience (including internship) in a school psychologist capacity
  • Valid state certification as a School Psychologist
  • Expertise conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
  • Strong skills in individual and group counseling, and crisis intervention
  • Comfort with coordinating and presenting in multi-disciplinary meetings (IEPs, placement committees)
  • Excellent communication, consultation, and collaboration skills with students, families, and educators
  • Proficiency in preparing psychological reports, maintaining records, and utilizing educational technology

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform psychoeducational evaluations to inform special education eligibility and student support
  • Provide direct mental health services, including one-on-one and group counseling
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster positive academic and behavioral outcomes
  • Lead and participate in crisis management and intervention efforts at the school and district level
  • Contribute to in-service training for staff and family engagement
