An internship is a temporary position offered by organizations to students or recent graduates to gain practical work experience in a specific field. Internships can be paid or unpaid and typically last from a few weeks to several months. They provide valuable hands-on training, networking opportunities, and a chance to apply academic knowledge in real-world settings.
