Job description

IMMEDIATE SUBSTITUTE MATH TEACHER NEEDED UNTIL NOVEMBER 1st
Stoneleigh-Burnham School, an independent girls' boarding and day school for grades 7-12, seeks an Immediate Substitute Mathematics teacher (until November 1st).
Located in Western Massachusetts, a short drive from the Five College Consortium (UMass Amherst, Smith, Mount Holyoke, Hampshire and Amherst College), Stoneleigh-Burnham School is the only girls' school in New England to offer the IB Diploma Programme and attracts students from the local area and around the world. Our mission centers around helping our students discover and use their authentic voices.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Coverage for one class of Higher Level Senior Math (IB Math HL Analysis and Approaches, year two)
Teaching Times:
• The class meets four times a week on Monday - from 9:10 - 10 am, Tuesday - from 1:25 - 2:15 pm, Thursday from 10:05 - 11:10 am, and Friday 12:30 - 1:20 pm.
Qualities and Qualifications:
• Math teaching experience preferred
• BS/BA required, MS/MA preferred
• Demonstrated ability to connect with and make a positive impact on young people
• Salary Range - $55 - $60 per class meeting plus one planning period
