METHODS LOGISTICS ENGINEER - Chattanooga, USA

Job description

As a Methods Logistics Engineer in our Plant in Chattagooga, in the US, your main tasks will be to:

  • To build and maintain the logistics database PFEP (part, packaging, surface...)
  • To lead strategic projects such as WMS Implementation and features using the RFID Technology
  • Support the integration of new projects with close collaboration with Supply Chain, Manufacturing Project Managers and Supply Project managers.
  • To perform time studies (forklifts, logistics operators,) to bring productivity and improve the plant PNL
  • Improve core processes such as Cycle Counting or the Production scheduling with a structured approach and continuous improvement methodology.

Profile

You are a highly motivated young graduate from an Engineering School or University with a strong interest for a production and methodology. As part of your studies, you have already undertaken an international curriculum (e.g., one semester or year outside your home country).

You are a team player, open-minded and have good organizational and time management skills. You are familiar with analytical tools (Power BI, VBA). You are curious and always on the look-out for improving industrial and manufacturing processes.

A first experience or internship in the automotive sector or in logistics can be a plus.

Your English is fluent, and another language is a plus.
