WEC Business Services LLC, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Intern - HR Labor Relations in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin location. This internship is full-time during the Summer of 2027. The hourly rate for this internship is $21.30 with paid company holidays.

Job Summary
The Human Resources intern will gain hands-on experience supporting Employee/Labor Relations activities within a unionized work environment. The position will provide opportunities to research labor agreements, assist with grievance and disciplinary documentation, analyze employee/ labor related data, participate in meetings and investigations, and help identify opportunities to improve the Employee/ Labor Relations processes. The intern will also support the organization in capturing and organizing institutional knowledge. This role is designed to provide a practical understanding of how Employee/Labor Relations supports business objectives. Students work with experienced members of the team.
Job Responsibilities
  • Support staff on projects while developing skills, technical expertise, interpersonal and communication skills, and Employee/Labor Relations skills
  • Build working knowledge within Employee/ Labor Relations through exposure to a variety of daily tasks, and projects
  • Infrequent travel required within Southeast WI

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or HSED
  • Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial/Labor Relations, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Business Analytics or closely related discipline with a graduation date after June 2027
  • Minimum GPA of 2.8
  • Valid Drivers License

Pay Range Minimum: $21.30
Pay Range Maximum: $24.60
The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
